The Sandy Community Action Center appreciates your donation of food to our Food Pantry. These can be donated at our dock behind the building on Monday – Friday, 10-4.
Food can be donated any time that we are open, which is Monday through Friday, 10a. – 4p.
Please make sure that cans, boxes, containers, etc. are in good condition and undamaged.
We DO accept and encourage home-grown fresh produce!
We also accept dog and cat food for our furry friends.

The Sandy Community Action Center needs these nutritious foods:
- Canned corn
- Chunky soups
- Jam/jelly
- Fun cereal
- Gluten-free choices
- Heat and eat foods
**Cans with pop tops are very convenient for our homeless population.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept home-canned goods OR frozen items per Oregon Food Bank.
We cannot accept baby food/formula or protein drinks/diet supplements that are expired.
To ensure food safety, we AVOID & CANNOT use:
- rusty or unlabeled cans
- perishable items (applies only to food drive donations)
- homemade items
- noncommercial canned or packaged items
- alcoholic beverages, mixes or soda
- open or used items
